Giornata Mondiale Della Radio 8 – 9 –
febbraio
al Castello di Santa Severa
In occasione della Giornata Mondiale della Radio, organizzata
in collaborazione con il CLUB per l’UNESCO di Latina, la città di
Santa Marinella e il PARCO DELLA SCIENZA G.MARCONI (Torre Chiaruccia) sono
stati inseriti nel calendario delle attività della FEDERAZIONE ITALIANA CENTRI
e ASSOCIAZIONI UNESCO (FICLU). L’evento – che sarà trasmesso in diretta
da RADIO KING711 - è ospitato dal
Castello di Santa Severa, spazio della Regione Lazio gestito
da LAZIOcrea in collaborazione con Comune di
S.Marinella, MiBAC e Coopculture.
Madrina di eccezione la Principessa Elettra Marconi, Testimonial il giovane
studente Matteo Passacantilli dell’Ist.Comprensivo di S.Marinella 1°
Classificato ai Campionati Internazionali di Matematica 2018 UNIVERSITA’
BOCCONI di Milano. Gli ospiti saranno accolti dal Sindaco Avv. Pietro Tidei. Il
Parco della Scienza, realizzato su progetto del Prof. Livio Spinelli per il
Comune di S.Marinella, ha consentito dopo 75 anni il ritorno a Torre Chiaruccia
del Centro Radioelettrico Sperimentale, istituito da Marconi quando era
presidente del CNR (R.D. 12.10.1933). A S.Marinella, Marconi - primo al mondo -
condusse ricerche e sperimentazioni avveniristiche sull’impiego delle microonde
nella RADIOTELEFONIA MOBILE, TRASMISSIONI TV. L’area in cui sorge il parco
costituisce una pietra miliare nella storia mondiale delle comunicazioni e
dell’elettronica. Gli eventi di queste giornate vedranno una numerosa
partecipazione di studenti in quanto uno degli obiettivi del Parco sono le
attività a favore delle scuole di ogni ordine e grado e università.
Parteciperanno studenti dell’ITIS FERMI di Roma, dell’IISS NAUTICO di
Civitavecchia e dell’Istituto Comprensivo Carducci di S.Marinella che stanno
realizzando il programma CLIL COMUNICAZIONI Lingua Inglese – Scienze –
Educazione Tecnica. Un contributo decisivo all’organizzazione di queste
giornate è stato dato dalle Sezioni Radioamatori ARI di, Civitavecchia
e Alto Lazio, dello YOTA CLUB ITALIAl’Associazione che
raggruppa tutti i giovani radioamatori europei e dal CSMI Coordinamento
Stazione Marconiane Italiane. Dalla Spagna parteciperà il Presidente della
TITANIC Fundacion Jesus Ferreiro Ruapartner della Città della Scienza e due
giornalisti della catena radio televisiva spagnola ES.RADIO TV. L’8 febbraio a
TORRE CHIARUCCIA sarà attivata la nuova stazione radioamatoriale, operata dai
ragazzi dello YOTE CLUB, che dopo mezzo secolo farà sentire di nuovo al mondo “LA
VOCE DI MARCONI”. Al Castello di S.Severa si sono dati appuntamento tutti i
radioamatori del CSMI Coordinamento Stazioni Marconiane Italiane. L’Arch.
Stefania Nardangeli presenterà il progetto preliminare di ricostruzione della
Torre Chiaruccia dove Marconi conduceva i suoi esperimenti, distrutta dai
nazisti nel 1944. Tra i relatori del Convegno ci saranno il Prof. Gianni
Cancellieri, Presidente del CReSM, l’Ing. Emanuele D’Andria Presidente di AMSAT
Italia, il Prof. Arnaldo D’Amico dell’Università di Tor Vergata, il Prof.
Gaspare Galati dell’Università di Tor Vergata. Il convegno del giorno 9 sarà
aperto dal Presidente dell’ARI Civitavecchia Mariano Mezzetti tra i vari
interventi ci sarà il giovanissimo radioamatore Martin Faraglia delegato YOTA
ITALIA e un intervento di un rappresentante dell’ARI nazionale. Il pomeriggio a
partire dalle ore Ore 15.45 sarà dedicato alla proiezione di “Z23MD: la DX-Pedition in
Zimbabwe del Mediterraneo DX Club”; “Le onde del futuro”
cortometraggio di Stefano Foschi IKØXCC (CSMI) e “La radioemergenza in onde
medie” della Sezi. ARI di Civitavecchia e Radio King 711. La giornata si
concluderà con un Workshop “MARCONI AGAIN: una performance creativa interattiva di Claudio
Mazzenga e Barbara Basile.

At Santa Severa Castle and Chiaruccia Tower – SANTA MARINELLA (ROME) ITALY
For World Radio Day, organized in collaboration with the UNESCO CLUB for Latina, the City of Santa Marinella (ROME) and the SCIENCE PARK G.MARCONI (Torre Chiaruccia) have been included in the calendar of the activities of the UNESCO ITALIANA CENTRES ASSOCIATION (FICLU).
The
event - will be broadcast live by RADIO KING711 – and the venues are the
CHIARUCCIA TOWER and the Santa Severa Castle of the Lazio Region Government managed
by LAZIOcrea in collaboration with the Municipality of S.Marinella, MiBAC and
Coopculture.
GUEST STARs are Princess Elettra Marconi, and the young student Matteo Passacantilli of the Comprehensive School of S.Marinella 1st classified at the 2018 International Championships of Mathematics of the BOCCONI UNIVERSITY in Milan.
The
guests will be welcomed by the Mayor Pietro Tidei.
The
Science Park Guglielmo Marconi at CHIARUCCIA TOWER, is a project made by Prof.
Livio Spinelli for the MUNICIPALITY of Santa Marinella, the ITALIAN AIR FORCE, and
the Experimental Radioelectric Center, established by Marconi at S.Marinella in
1933when he was president of CNR. Marconi at Torre Chiaruccia - first in the world - conducted futuristic
researches and experiments on the use of microwaves in the MOBILE
RADIOTELEPHONY, TV. In April 1935 Marconi built his first RADAR STATION at
CHIARUCCIA TOWER, he
had asked the company's factory in Genoa to build him a small transmitter of
50-centimetre wavelength, with a receiver to match. In April, while testing
them at Torre Chiaruccia outside Rome with Luigi Solari, he bounced radio waves
off his car, driven back and forth by his chauffeur, and then off a circling
aircraft. At every stage, the British parent company was kept informed of these
experiments.
In December 1935 the British government asked the Marconi company to design and manufacture the transmitting 'curtain' antenna arrays for the first five 'Chain Home' radar stations, covering the Thames Estuary and approaches to London. In May 1937 came an order for providing similar arrays for 20 additional stations. Without the protection given by these radar stations, the Battle of Britain three summers later would almost certainly have been lost.
In December 1935 the British government asked the Marconi company to design and manufacture the transmitting 'curtain' antenna arrays for the first five 'Chain Home' radar stations, covering the Thames Estuary and approaches to London. The Science Park and the CHIARUCCIA TOWER is a
milestone in the world history of communications and electronics.
The events of these days
will be attended by a large number of students because one of the objectives of
the Park are the organizations of activities in favour of schools and
universities.
There
will be students of the Enrico FERMI
High School (Rome), of the NAVAL High School (Civitavecchia) and of the Comprehensive
School (St.Marinella) who are doing a school
project CLIL COMMUNICATIONS: English Language - Science – I.T.
An
important support to the organization has been given by the ARI Italian Radio Amateurs
Associations of Civitavecchia and Northern Lazio, by the YOTA CLUB ITALY the youth
European radio amateurs Association and the CSMI Association of the Italian
Marconi Radio Stations.
From
Spain Jesus Ferreiro Rua the President of TITANIC Fundacion who is a partner of
the Città della Scienza and two journalists from the Spanish television radio
chain ES.RADIO TV will participate.
On
the 8th of February at TORRE CHIARUCCIA the new amateur radio station will be
activated, and operated by the YOTA CLUB Youth Radio Amateurs, and after half a
century they will let the world hear "The VOICE of MARCONI" again.
At
the Castello di S.Severa there will be a meeting of CSMI the Association of of
the Italian Marconi Stations.
The
Architect Stefania Nardangeli will present the preliminary project to rebuilt the
Chiaruccia Tower where Marconi conducted his experiments, destroyed by the
Nazis in 1944. There will lectures of Prof. Gianni Cancellieri, President of
CReSM, Eng. Emanuele D'Andria President of AMSAT Italy, Prof. Arnaldo D'Amico
of the University of Tor Vergata, Prof. Gaspare Galati of the University of Tor
Vergata.
The
conference on the 9th will be opened by the President of the ARI Civitavecchia
Mariano Mezzetti and several lectures one
of Martin Faraglia YOTA ITALY delegate and a speech by a Delegate of the
national board of ARI.
In
the afternoon starting from 3.45 pm, there will be the screenings of
"Z23MD: the DX-Pedition in Zimbabwe of the
Mediterranean DX Club";
"The waves of the future" short film
by Stefano Foschi IKØXCC (CSMI) and
"Radioemergency in medium waves" by ARI
Association of Civitavecchia and Radio King 711.
Then the workshop "MARCONI AGAIN: an
interactive creative performance by Claudio Mazzenga and Barbara Basile.
